Transfer of test date

You may transfer your IELTS test date if there are places available, by completing the Transfer of Test form in person five weeks prior to your scheduled test date.  An administration fee of $65 applies.  If it is less than five weeks before the scheduled test, it is completely at the discretion of the Test Centre to allow a transfer or not.
Please provide your receipt when requesting a transfer.

Cancelling an IELTS test booking

You may cancel your IELTS test and receive a refund by contacting us five weeks or more before your scheduled test date.  An administration fee of 25% of the full test fee applies for cancellation.  No refund will be given for cancellation less than five weeks prior to the test. You are required to complete the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form and return it to our centre.
Please provide your application receipt number when cancelling.

At least five weeks notice is needed to cancel or transfer an IELTS test booking, except if due to illness or serious cause.
Macquarie University IELTS Centre reserves the right not to accept cancellations and transfers from a candidate who has started the test, and

• exits during the test; or
• cannot attend both days in the event of a 2 day test

Requests for re-marking of results

If for any reason you wish to query your test results, you need to complete and lodge the IELTS Enquiry on Results form at the IELTS Test Centre Reception, within six weeks of test date. Please note you will need to submit your original Test Report Form and a fee of $176 dollars at the time you lodge your enquiry.
